John Christopher Mahoney (December 19 1882 - November 18 1952) was a federal judge in the United States. Mahoney was born in Ireland but spent most of his life in Rhode Island. He attended Brown University and Harvard Law School. He worked for many years as a lawyer in private practice in Providence, Rhode Island and also served as an Assistant United States Attorney from 1917 to 1921, and as City Solicitor of Providence from 1931 to 1935.
